What You’ll Need to Succeed
A successful OINP application hinges on the ability to present a convincing case.
The following will be required:
Proof of Work Experience
Clear documentation, including letters from employers, contracts, and pay stubs, to verify your professional history.
Educational Credentials
Degrees or diplomas from recognized institutions. If obtained outside Canada, an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) will be required.
Language Proficiency
Results from approved tests like IELTS or CELPIP for English, or TEF Canada for French, depending on the stream.
Proof of Funds
Evidence that you can support yourself and any accompanying family members upon arriving in Canada.
Job Offer (for Employer-Driven Streams)
A valid job offer from an Ontario employer, often in an in-demand occupation.
Business Plan and Investment (for Entrepreneur Streams)
For entrepreneurs, Ontario requires a detailed business plan and proof of the required financial investment.
